Colleen Gray is a sought after therapist and teacher of solution oriented approaches in counselling and hypnotherapy. Her passion is helping people build more satisfying and fulfilling relationships at every level of their personal and professional lives.

Colleen is an acknowledged specialist in the area of developing effective relationships. Her genuine and humane approach to helping people is described as down to earth and refreshing. Her weekly Relationship column in the Cairns Post Weekend Feature reaches over 100,000 readers throughout North Queensland.

Colleen is on the national register of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), is a member and serves on the committee of the Society of Counselling and Psychotherapy Educators Australia (SCAPE), Association of Solution Oriented Counsellors and Hypnotherapists of Australia (ASOCHA) and the Employee Assistance Professional Association of Australia. Colleen is building a reputation as an excellent teacher, key note speaker, group motivator and coach.

Roy is a qualified practitioner in solution oriented counselling and hypnotherapy. He supports the delivery and facilitation of training programs and workshops and provides cross cultural support and brokerage to indigenous and non-indigenous students.
In 2001 Roy was awarded an Australian Federation Medal.

Roy is an elder of the Yidinji Gimuy Walabura Clan of Cairns, and is an acknowledged authority on the oral history and language of his area. He is motivated by a desire to create respectful and practical solutions to help Indigenous and non-Indigenous people learn how to ‘hear’ each other. He is committed to working toward Aboriginal people enjoying equality in Australian society.

He is a co-author of the book Binan Goonj – Bridging Cultures in Aboriginal Health.

Roy is currently completing a book on the oral histories of Indigenous elders who have resided at Yarrabah, and is completing a Bachelor in Linguistics. As well as making a difference to his own and people, he is passionate about teaching and preserving cultural knowledge and the Yidinj language.
